ACA Mission and Profile

School Mission

The mission of Alabama Christian Academy is to glorify God by providing a quality, Christ-centered education which challenges students and teachers to maximize their potential so that graduates are prepared to further their education while becoming productive Christian citizens.

School Accreditation

Every four years, the accrediting firm, Advanc-ED (formerly SACS), visits ACA to evaluate the school's educational environment and review ACA's accreditation. The primary aim of Advance-Ed  and the accreditation process is "to stimulate and guide continuous school improvement in the areas of teaching and learning, leadership and the use of resources." ACA received its accreditation renewal in the Spring of 2015.

The Advanc-ED committee had this to say about ACA's "Powerful Practices" (things we do well):

1.  ACA fosters a positive culture & communicates the school’s purpose to all its stakeholders.

2.  ACA prepares its students for future academic endeavors via challenging learning experiences.

3.  ACA embraces its mission of providing a Christ-centered education.

4.  ACA’s facilities are safe & well maintained AND our school provides COMPREHENSIVE services to meet the physical, social & emotional needs of its students.
