In the Elementary School at Alabama Christian Academy, students discover the joy of learning through a rich and varied curriculum. Small class sizes are conducive for building relationships between teachers and students. A MakerSpace, Collaboration Corner, and Library are designated spaces for young learners to explore and collaborate. Throughout the week, the students are also introduced to new concepts in Art, Music, STEM, Counseling, Library, and Creative Writing Lab. Students in Kindergarten and first grade have the opportunity to visit with a full-time Reading Specialist each day. ACA’s student test scores regularly exceed local, state and national averages.
ACA provides multiple after school enrichment opportunities for elementary students to participate in weekly. Students have the option to take part in ACA's After School Program, where K3-8th grade students can choose to participate in a variety of age-appropriate programs including Technology, LEGOS, Drama, Coding, Tumbling, Broadway Bound, Music Prep Theory, and Art. The students in ACA's After School Program are grouped according to age group, and are also offered tutoring assistance provided by certified teachers.
