Students at ACA are encouraged to grow spiritually. All ACA students attend a daily Bible class as well as school level chapel assemblies. Because it is important to extend what students learn beyond the classroom, a life-lab, is vitally important for a full understanding of being Christ-like. For this reason, we encourage our faculty and students to get involved in service to the community.
Grade levels, student organizations and clubs, and even athletic teams participate in service opportunities during the school year. Students in our elementary participate in service projects throughout each year involving the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Heavenly Hats, among others, to teach them how to serve in their communities and beyond. The many service opportunities allow our students to put into action what they learn daily in chapel and Bible class. It is another way we empower our students to thrive in wisdom and serve in spirit.
