Jake Mitchell
Upper School: 6th Grade History
Education: B.S degree in education from Faulkner university. Masters in Education from Harding University.
Bio: Jake serves as the 6th grade social studies teacher and the Varsity basketball coach here at ACA. He has grown up in Christian education from preschool through college and is excited about coming to ACA to continue grow and be a part of Christian education as a teacher. The opportunity to live out my faith and help my students grow spiritually as well as academically is what makes being a part of the ACA family so exciting. Jake is married to Emma and has one daughter, Lily.
Favorite verse: Philippians 4:6-7. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
