Bio

Angie is the current Theatre, Communications, and Art Instructor at Alabama Christian Academy in Montgomery, Alabama. She has taught theatre and directed students of every age for over thirty-five years. She has her MFA from the University of Alabama in Theatre Performance, is a member of the Dramatist Guild, is a certified Meisner Acting instructor for The True Acting Institute, and is an Equity Eligible Candidate. She was last seen onstage at the Wetumpka Depot as Sandra Templeton in their production of Big Fish! She has also been in recent productions of Dancing at Lughnasa and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and as Baroness Elberfeld in the Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s production of The Sound of Music. Most recently,  she directed Into the Woods, Jr, All Together Now, and Annie, Jr. at Alabama Christian Academy. And currently, she is a Writer and Director for  The Alabama-Korea Education and Economic Partnership (A-KEEP) production of The Korean Robin Hood to be performed at the Davis Theatre of the Performing Arts. This is her fourth collaboration with A-KEEP. She has been involved in many of the Cloverdale Playhouse Cabarets with Randy Foster, including virtually! She is also a produced playwright having participated in the ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop in NYC with such Musical Theatre dignitaries as Stephen Schwartz and Sheldon Harnick. During the summer, she loves teaching at Camp Shakespeare at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and being a part of the City of Montgomery’s Musical Theatre Intensive presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs. She is thrilled to be a Theatre Professional for the Alabama Institute for Education in the Arts.  She is married to Matt and they have one son, Aidan, who is a Junior (So proud!) at The University of Alabama.
