Bio

Teaching her students grammar and literature while being able to openly share and incorporate her faith into her lessons is a highlight of teaching at ACA. Affiliated with ACA since 2006 and teaching middle school English for eleven years, ACA feels like home to Leah. In addition to teaching seventh grade English, in 2023, Leah became the senior advisor and is now also working with our high school students to help them as they make decisions about their post high school plans. She currently serves as a middle school house sponsor and the National Junior Honor Society Advisor and has served in various roles during her tenure including assistant basketball coach and middle school SGA sponsor. Leah and her husband Mark chose ACA as the educational home for their three children: Carson and Hayes, both ACA graduates, and Marley, a current ACA student. Leah and her family attend Dalraida church of Christ.
