ALABAMA CHRISTIAN ACADEMY ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENTS

ACA has announced that Greg Glenn, formerly Head of School, will now serve full time as Director of Strategic Planning. Current Associate Head of School Josh Roberts will begin serving as the new Head of School effective June 1, 2024.

Glenn, who has led the school to increased enrollment each of the past three years and overseen regional fine arts champions and a record-setting athletics program, was asked by the ACA Board of Directors to launch a capital campaign to build on these and other successes to enhance facilities and capabilities.

“We can think of no one in our community better equipped to guide master campus planning, land usage, architecture design, needs analysis, and relationships with existing and future donors,” said Al Crosby, Board Chair. “His leadership here, his connections throughout the country and here in the River Region, and his steadfast advocacy for Christian education make him the ideal person to serve in this new role.”

Roberts, who came to ACA in 2020, worked closely with Glenn to reopen the campus during COVID-19 and implement the school’s Soaring Safe plan. He has been integrally involved with ACA’s financial management, leading ACA to greater financial stability, enrollment growth, and stronger fiscal accountability.

A former attorney specializing in education litigation, Roberts has served as an administrator at Faulkner University as well as the Dean of Students at Lipscomb University and at Auburn University-Montgomery.

Crosby said, “It is obvious that the Lord has uniquely prepared both Mr. Roberts and Mr. Glenn for these crucial roles. We could not be more excited about this transition!”
